Practical support for families during life's hardest moments.

We provide dedicated, in-person support for individuals and families after a loss, divorce, health crisis, and other periods of complexity. We coordinate advisors, handle logistics, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks when life feels overwhelming.

OUR ROLE

The “Second Chair”.

In an orchestra, the Second Chair supports the lead player by listening closely, reinforcing the performance, and stepping forward when needed.

In law, the Second Chair helps ensure nothing is missed, keeping the work organized and on track behind the scenes.

We play the same role for individuals and families navigating difficult times, providing trusted support, advocacy, and follow-through while respecting independence and dignity.

WHEN TO CALL

We may be a fit if…

Whether the result of a single event or the accumulation of many, you may recognize one or more of these situations:

A spouse has passed away

… leaving someone to manage both grief and everything that comes next.

Divorce, serious illness, or other disorienting life changes

… are making life harder while important responsibilities pile up.

Family members are stretched thin

… and feel both overwhelmed and that they aren’t doing enough.

You're helping your parent(s)

… but have a full plate or don't live nearby.

Advisors and others are doing good work

… but no one is coordinating.

You're worried about a loved one

… and concerned that important matters may be falling through the cracks.

If one or more of these situations feels familiar, a conversation may be a good place to start.
